Pet Pantry is a non-profit program in Michigan. We are dedicated to assisting low income residents with pet food and supplies. It is our mission to ensure that pets are not forgotten or abandon during economic hardships, and can remain in their homes with their families.
Our immediate vision of The Pet Pantry is committed to providing low incomefamilies with pet food and supplies needed to ensure that their pets stay in their homes, and continue to live happy and healthy lives. In these hard economic times, the prices of everyday goods and services are steadily increasing, making everyday expenses difficult. Pets have become hidden victims. As many people are being displaced from their homes, pets are sometimes left behind or placed in shelters, or they are disposed of along roadsides to fend for themselves. It is the Pet Pantry's goal to assist during difficult times to keep your companions supplied and in their homes.
Our long term future vision includes expanding the Pet Pantry to many areas in the state of MI. We would also like to help animals that unfortunately do become abandoned be placed in homes or be trained to be therapy and/or service animals These animals may be placed in facilities such as nursing homes, handicapped and disabled people’s homes who are in need.
All Services are provided on an “as available” basis, and are completely free of charge.
